• Provide account access, course delivery, instructor onboarding, and payment operations.
• Maintain service quality, resolve technical issues, and improve product performance.
• Comply with legal, tax, anti-fraud, and security obligations.
• Send service communications and support updates related to your account.

3. Legal bases for processing

• Contract: to deliver platform services you request.
• Legitimate interests: platform security, abuse prevention, and service improvement.
• Legal obligations: regulatory compliance and lawful requests.
• Consent: where required for optional communications and specific data uses.

4. Sharing, transfers, and retention

• We share data only with trusted service providers needed to run iLutor (hosting, analytics, payments, messaging).
• We do not sell personal data.
• Where data is transferred outside Nigeria, we apply appropriate safeguards and contractual protections.

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for service delivery, legal compliance, dispute handling, and security purposes. Data no longer required is deleted or anonymized.
